If you or a pet owner you know in Goldsboro, North Carolina and is in need...

The Wayne County Humane Society's is assisting struggling pet owners. On the third Sunday of each month, they start at 2:00, and they had people tell them they'd been waiting at the gate since 11:30. The program is not meant to support people who are breeding animals or others who are involved with animals to make money. It's just for Wayne County residents, and intended to provide support for those who really need it. WCHS also has a spay and neuter program at the adoption center. If you want to give, WCHS does accept open bags of food, as long as the food is still good, and will even go do pick up donations if necessary. Donators can drop off food or monetary gifts at Carolina Mini Storage on Parkway Drive Monday through Friday during normal store hours. Visit their website for more details.
