Salt River Project is partnering with Maytag and Home Depot to give away energy-efficient clothes washers and dryers in celebration of Earth Day. The giveaway will be held April 25 at Home Depot locations in Mesa, Gilbert, Phoenix and Chandler. Machines from the Energy Star Bravos line, donated by Maytag, can save up to 70 percent in water usage and 67 percent in electrical usage. The events also will feature other energy-efficient prize giveaways.
