Temecula-based Jewel Scene is giving away Mother's Day gifts, earrings or a necklace, to those who can prove they have been laid off or lost their home.
Where: Jewel Scene, 26431 Ynez Road, Suite B, in the Palm Plaza at Ynez and Winchester roads
When: Starting Tuesday, on a first-come, first-served basis; store hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What to bring: Identification, along with a layoff or foreclosure notice
