THF Realty, owner of Chesterfield Commons shopping center, is giving away 15,000 bulbs for pink or yellow tulips to Habitat for Humanity St. Louis and about 100,000 such bulbs to the general public. People can obtain the bulbs starting at 9 a.m. Friday behind the shopping center's fountains off THF Boulevard. The shopping center is along Chesterfield Airport Road near the Boone's Crossing exit of Highway 40 (Interstate 64). The developer gives away the bulbs as it replaces them with annual plants in the shopping center's landscaping. The 258 families who live in houses Habitat for Humanity has built are receiving some of the bulbs. The organization will sell any leftover bulbs from that donation at its ReStore shop at 3763 Forest Park Avenue, St. Louis.
